My name is David Jordahl, a 40 year resident of Minnesota. My family, on my mother's side, dates back to 1868, here in Minnesota. Beginning in the Rushford area, in the Norway township, Minnesota.
At the age of 19, I first lived in St Paul, fall of 1978, at the corner of Maryland Avenue East, and Clarence Avenue. After moving to a couple other addresses in St Paul, I began moving west, into Minneapolis. In 1980 to 1982, I moved to live with my father, who was diagnosed with cancer in his brain. After my fathers house sold, I moved back down to the Twin Cities, to Concordia College to become a Director of Christian Education. However, I soon learned I need to recover
The longest residence I kept was 3411 Dupont Avenue South, across the street from the (then) Jewish Synagogue. I was there for 15 years, 1991 to 2006. After a former employer (4 yrs) and I parted ways, I took a chance on focusing on developing my own web design business. However, that proved to be much more difficult than I anticipated, and lost my apartment. There is much more to the story, but suffice it to say, I began a few years of being a live-in remodeler, then in 2009, I was a live-in PCA (personal care attendant) for a man with Muscular Dystrophy. During all the "live-in" experiences I continued to work on my web design business. However, it was my time as a PCA I discovered that developing websites for customers was no longer fun, and no longer of interest.
A weekly volunteer for 3 years, for Open Access Connections, at Catholic Charities Opportunity Ctr.
